Our Team:
Small family of three, with a mission to make tail wags one dog at a time!
It started as two dog parents, who love their dog deeply. Turned into obsessive dog parents who made sure they would do whatever they could to protect their dog from harmful food and weird ingredients (sorry, not sorry). Turned into two dog parents who wanted to dig deep into the pet food industry and understand more about the nutrition do's and don't. So we took an intensive course in Canine nutrition from NAVC (North America Veterinary Community) and understood more and more about the basics of good nutrition.
It did not stop there, when our precious Jazzy (a yellow playful and always hungry lab) turned one, we wanted to celebrate her life and the impact it has on us. We wanted to make her feel loved and have a festive meal without harming her.
We searched and found that almost every major company that produced treats or cakes for dogs have ingredients we didn't even know how to pronounce. Ingredients were complicated, additives were mentioned and of course, it had a shelf life longer than our dog's life, so therefore it had tons of preservatives. So we decided to take matters into our own hands and make Jazzy a cake and we didn't stop there.
When combining our love for baking and love for dogs, we created Bark The Dog Bakery - just to make dogs happy while serving them healthy treats and cakes.
